Designed Landscapes was founded Humberto Dutra. Humberto has a PhD in Environmental Sciences, extensive training in plant biology, and a Landscape Design certification from Emory University. Our designs work with nature and not against it, we have a clear understanding of Georgia's weather and ecosystems and are able to choose plants that will thrive in your backyard. Did you know that most plantings in Georgia fail because of excessive watering? Or that many of plants commercially available are prone to blights, fungus, and root rots?
